Affairs Of The Heart, Singapore National Heart Association's (SNHA) biennial fund-raising show, hopes to raise $ 2.5million this year for their heart patients in a series of programmes including subsidies for operations and cardiac rehabilitation support groups.

Almost 40 artistes including foreign talents such as China's renowned crosstalk artiste Ma Ji, Hong Kong's veteran singer Ye Zheng Tang, Hong Kong veteran actor Hu Feng and Hong Kong-based actress Mimi Choo will be involved in the charity show.

MediaCorp artistes chipping in to do their bit for charity include Fann Wong, Ivy Lee, Jeff Wang, Aileen Tan, Xie Shaoguang, Priscelia Chan, Joey Swee, Qi Yuwu, Cynthia Koh,Huang Bingjie, Shi Bin and many more!

We sneak a peek at some of the items to expect come July 28.


1. Luminous Hula Hoop
Artistes involved: Joey Swee, Jeff Wang, Le Yao

The trio will attempt to break their personal records by upping the number of hula hoops used, and they're not stopping there. The flexi-waisted ones are even gonna try hula-hooping while hung in mid-air! And did we mention they are using giant hula hoops?


2. Skipping Rope
Artistes involved: San Yow, Ou Jie, Christine Lee, Edmund Tay, Nick Shen, Zzen
The 6 artistes, together with 10 other students, attempt to skip away with a TV record, using a giant rope.

3. Vertical Rope
Artistes involved: Priscelia Chan, Qi Yuwu, Shi Bin, Huang Bingjie
Seems Priscelia's getting the hang of the rope after the stint in the last NKF. Here, she joins 3 muscled male artistes in a move to emulate the stunts they do while hanging for dear life on ropes at...don't blink - Cirque Du Soleil!

4. Fashion Transformation
Artistes involved: Cynthia Koh, Michelle Liow
Ever wondered how stars especially at concerts, make changing in and out of their costumes in a flash look so easy? These 2 gals seem to know the tricks!

5. Cooking Segment
Artiste involved: Billy Wang
Billy has gone on National TV to spill everything about his mother. Now, both mother and son will go on National TV to spill everything they know about healthy eating - with 'live' demonstrations.

6. Song Item By Fann Wong
Artiste involved: Fann Wong
Her first TV appearance after spending 4 months in Prague filming Jackie Chan's Shanghai Knight, Fann is back with a new song by Li Sisong and a special item that involves balloons - yes, the princess' most-feared thing! >>>Read more about it!

7. Fantasy Balloon
Artistes involved: Ivy Lee, Xie Shaoguang, Jeanette Aw
Bubbles and more bubbles, bubbles within bubbles, giant bubbles...something to make the kids go 'Wow!'.

8. Orchestral Palm Music
Artistes involved: Huang Wenyong, Brandon Wong, Chen Tianwen, Zhang Yaodong, Xiang Yun, Pan Lingling, Aileen Tan, Vivian Lai
